You’ll pass a quirky ensemble of interesting shops, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, including Woody’s Breakfast & Burgers before hitting the iconic Crystal Pier. On the other side of the pier is North Pacific Beach. Ocean Walk boardwalk snakes along the bluffs above the beach with the occasional stairway connecting the two.
Going to the left on Ocean Front Walk will take you past beachfront homes, condos, and vacation rentals; eventually get you to the Wave House and historic Belmont Park in Mission Beach. The two beaches and their respective neighborhoods are connected by Ocean Front Walk. Following the boardwalk to its end will take you to the jetty. Across the canal and another jetty is Ocean Beach.
