RoomsAt Estancia guests can choose from a wide selection of guest rooms and estate suites. All guest rooms and suites offer a relaxed and serene setting with warm colors, exceptional amenities, and rancho-themed furnishings. Visitors can rest easy on imported Turkish cotton linens, work comfortably at the in-room work desk, sit back in an elegant wingback reading chair with leather ottoman, be entertained by the 37” high-definition television, and stay wired with complimentary Wi-Fi. Signature bathrobes are provided for each room, as well as Fresh bathroom products made from the finest all-natural ingredients. Each accommodation celebrates the peaceful coastal climate while providing luxury for every guest.
The 199 guest rooms have three styles from which to choose, and include a selection of ADA accessible rooms. Deluxe Guest Rooms are the standard and feature sky-lit windows providing a light and airy ambiance. Veranda Guest Rooms are primarily on the ground floor and have serene patios; the few located on the second floor have balconies. Both offer excellent views of the gorgeous courtyards. Equestrian-style doors keep the rooms light and breezy.
Estate Guest Rooms are located on the second and third floors and feature charming balconies with padded chairs, and quaint tables. Estate rooms offer guests views of either the courtyard with water fountains and stone paths, or a pool view. All guest rooms are 415 square feet. Room amenities include two-line speakerphones, cordless phone with voicemail, two terrycloth robes, coffeemaker with private blend coffee, hair dryers, magnifying makeup mirrors, and oversized in-room laptop safes.
The ten Estate Suites include all of the same amenities as the Guest Rooms, but they are larger at 640 square feet. The living area has a full-size pull-out sleeper sofa and small dining area. There are televisions in both the bedroom and living area. Bathrooms include an oversized soaking tub and separate shower.
The Presidential Suite features 1,250 square feet, one and one-half bathrooms, a large bright living room with a full wall of French doors and windows, an adjoining dining area that seats six, and an expansive master bedroom. Opulent amenities such as a large patio with chaise lounges, a high-end Nepresso coffee machine and electric kettle, and a four-poster California King bed make this suite feel truly Presidential.
Note: The hotel is pet-friendly provided pooches are on leashes and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Guests will be asked for a non-refundable $150 fee per dog for clean-up after departure.

Estancia is located on the north end of La Jolla next to the UCSD campus. Guests need to be prepared to either rent a car or factor in pricey taxi services.
